Jeg har hele mit liv arbejdet indenfor miljø, klima og bæredygtighed både som offentligt og privat ansat og har de seneste 25 år valgt Ingeniørforeningen/IDA som min faglige organisation. Det er ikke uden grund. Som ansat  har jeg ofte oplevet, at faglig organisering er et nødvendigt grundlag for en god arbejdsplads. Det gælder både, når alt går godt og når samarbejdet halter. Det gælder når løn og arbejdsforhold skal forhandles og når organisationsændringer går galt. Så er IDA et godt fagligt fællesskab og et nødvendigt sikkerhedsnet for de ansatte. 

Jeg stiller op for Fagforeningslisten af to grunde:
Først og fremmest vil jeg gerne bidrage til, at IDA fortsætter sin udvikling hen mod en endnu bedre fagforening til glæde for alle medlemmer og deres arbejdspladser. Gode medarbejdere arbejder bedst under gode forhold. Samtidig er IDA så meget mere end blot en fagforening: Nationalt og globalt står vi over for de nok største udfordringer, menneskeheden har set i nyere tid. Udfordringer, som netop IDAs medlemmer har helt unikke muligheder for løfte. Klima, miljø, biodiversitet, bæredygtighed, ressourcegenanvendelse handler alt sammen om teknologier og deres anvendelse. Den dagsorden kan og skal IDA byde ind på. Det ønsker jeg at bidrage til. 

Vil du en fremtid, hvor vi på alle niveauer - fagligt som fagpolitisk - arbejder sammen om at løse verdens problemer, så stil op for  Fagforeningslisten - eller stem på mig.

I have worked all my life within the area of environment, climate and sustainability both as a public and private employee and have chosen IDA as my trade union for the past 25 years. It is not without reason. As an employee, I have often experienced that a well-organized union is necessary for a good workplace. This applies both when everything is going well and when cooperation is lagging. This applies when wages and working conditions need to be negotiated and when organizational changes go wrong. Then IDA is a good professional community and a necessary safety net for employees.

I am running for the Trade Union List for two reasons: First and foremost, I would like to contribute to IDA continuing its development towards an even better trade union for the benefit of all members and their workplaces. Good employees work best under good conditions.At the same time, IDA is so much more than just a trade union: Nationally and globally, we are facing what are probably the biggest challenges that humanity has seen in recent times. Challenges that IDA's members have unique opportunities to address. Climate, environment, biodiversity, sustainability, resource recycling are all about technologies and their use. IDA can and must offer that agenda. I want to contribute to that.
