Morten Thiessen

Jeg er aktiv i IDA og er valgt til repræsentantskabet og Hovedbestyrelsen. Jeg har prøvet en del tillidsvalgte funktioner gennem tiden, både som medlem og formand for Virksomhedsgruppen på Aalborg Industries, formand for arbejdsmarkedsudvalget i to perioder og formand for ansattes råd i to perioder. Min interesse for foreningsarbejdet er fortsat stærk, og jeg finder inspiration i mit arbejde som rådmand for Børn og Unge i Aalborg til at finde nye ideer til udviklingen af IDA. Privat er jeg gift med Pia, som er ingeniør hos Siemens Windpower, og har tre børn, hvoraf to også er IDA-medlemmer.

Jeg stiller op fordi jeg mener at IDA skal arbejde mere for at forbedre og udvikle arbejdsforholdene på det private arbejdsmarked. Vores medlemmer er forskellige og efterspørger ikke nødvendigvis de samme forhold for at trives i jobbet. Gode arbejdsforhold er også en mulighed for virksomhederne for at skabe stærkere tilknytning, så det er en oplagt mulighed for både IDA's medlemmer og for arbejdsgiverne.
IDA skal fortsat udvikle vores lønstatistikværktøj, så vores medlemmer får det bedste udgangspunkt for at få arbejdet godt betalt.
Efteruddannelse er en effektiv metode til at vedligeholde sin markedsværdi, og IDA skal arbejde mere på at udbyde kurser med høj faglig tyngde.

Man skal stemme på mig hvis man fortsat skal have en erfaren og konstruktiv parlamentariker til at repræsentere IDA's medlemmer i Nordjylland. Jeg står for klassiske temaer for de privatansatte; løn, arbejdsforhold, efteruddannelse, fleksibilitet og ret til frit valg af pensionsselskab. Mit politiske virke betyder at jeg har fingeren på pulsen i forhold til samfundsudviklingen og kan samle inspiration til at finde nye løsninger for IDA's udvikling som en organisation med medlemmerne i centrum.

I am active in IDA and hold a seat in the Board of representatives and in the Executive Committee. I have held several positions in IDA over time, both as a board member and chair of the local Company Group at Aalborg Industries, chair of the IDA Labor Committee for two terms, and chair of the IDA Council of Employees for two terms. My interest in IDA-work remains strong, and I find inspiration in my work as alderman for Children and Youth in Aalborg to find new ideas for the development of IDA. Privately, I am married to Pia, who is an engineer at Siemens Windpower, and have three children, two of whom are also IDA members.

I am running because I believe that IDA should focus more on improving and developing working conditions in the private sector. Our members are diverse and do not necessarily seek the same conditions to thrive in their jobs, so we will need more flexibility in the future. Good working conditions are also an opportunity for companies to create stronger attachments, making it an obvious opportunity for both IDA's members and employers. IDA should continue to develop our salary statistics tool so that our members have the best foundation for being well-compensated for their work. Continuous education is an effective method to maintain one's market value, and IDA should work more on offering courses with high professional content.

You should vote for me if you want to continue having an experienced and constructive parliamentarian to represent IDA's members in North Jutland. I stand for classic themes for privately employed individuals; salary, working conditions, continuing education, flexibility, and the right to choose a pension company freely. My political work means that I have my finger on the pulse of societal development and can gather inspiration to find new solutions for IDA's development as an organization with members at its core.
