CANDIDATE STATEMENT

From a young age I have always been interested in having a voice and offering opinions, and I believe this is the catalyst for joining the Youth Senedd. This has pushed me to provide a voice for other young people’s concerns and needs.

I want to help and do my part in giving young people throughout Wales someone to put their trust in; to give them the belief that they can walk home without worrying about something happening, and the ability to leave their families and study at university without going into potentially life-affecting debts. In addition, I am driven by the importance of exploring renewable energy sources in the future.

I would approach the role in an energetic, mature and focused manner; all qualities I have displayed throughout my time in school. The potential to be part of a system of change, and the responsibility associated with the role, is one that I will relish and embrace fully.

Hefyd, dw i’n deall pa mor bwysig yw ffynonellau ynni adnewyddadwy yn y dyfodol.

Bydden i’n cyflawni’r rôl mewn ffordd egnïol, aeddfed a drwy ganolbwyntio; mae’r rhain i gyd yn bethau dw i wedi dangos drwy fy amser yn yr ysgol. Mae’r potensial i fod yn rhan o system o newid a’r cyfrifoldebau sy’n dod gyda’r rôl yn rhywbeth rydw i’n ei groesawu ac yn edrych ymlaen ato.
