I notice the problems in my community & want to help make changes. I think being in the Welsh Youth Parliament would give me the chance to talk about the problems I see & discuss solutions. I see the impact of inappropriate funding for schools every day. We have classrooms which are unsafe to use, we sometimes don't have enough money for paper & we don't have adequate sports equipment. We only have one childhood & we are missing out. As a young carer I have developed good independence & problem solving abilities, as well as being able to think about other people's needs. I want to find positive solutions for problems & put ideas into action. I am interested in other people's views & try to be open to the idea of changing my own. I would work hard to make young Welsh voices heard.

Dw i’n sylwi ar y problemau yn fy nghymuned ac eisiau gwneud newidiadau. Dw i’n meddwl y byddai Senedd Ieuenctid Cymru yn rhoi cyfle i mi siarad am y problemau dw i’n eu gweld a thrafod atebion. Dw i’n gweld effaith cyllid amhriodol i ysgolion bob dydd. Mae gyda ni ystafelloedd dosbarth sy’n anniogel i’w defnyddio, weithiau does dim digon o arian gyda ni ar gyfer papur a does dim digon o gyfarpar chwaraeon gyda ni. Dim ond un plentyndod sy gyda ni ac rydyn ni’n colli cyfle. Fel gofalwr ifanc, dw i wedi datblygu annibyniaeth dda a galluoedd datrys problemau, yn ogystal â gallu meddwl am anghenion pobl eraill. Dw i eisiau dod o hyd i atebion cadarnhaol i broblemau a rhoi syniadau ar waith. Mae gen i ddiddordeb ym marn pobl eraill a dw i’n trio bod yn agored i newid fy marn fy hun. Byddwn i’n gweithio’n galed i sicrhau bod lleisiau ifanc Cymru yn cael eu clywed.
