Who am I?
I have a scientific background (PhD) and experience bringing innovative science to real world application. I thrive in dynamic, cross-functional environments and enjoy collaborating with people to solve complex problems, to turn bold ideas into reality and to create societal value.
Having lived in 3 different countries and working in international roles, I see diversity as a key element for progress and innovation in order to solve the complex problems we face as a global, interconnected society.

Why am I a candidate?
My motivation is to help IDA become better equipped to help internationals integrate in Denmark, helping attract and retain global talent.
Moving from Portugal to The Netherlands and later to Denmark, I have experienced firsthand how unconscious bias and narrow minded policies can create barriers for internationals and their families to integrate in a new country.
