FFion Davies
Cheaper public transport / Trafnidiaeth gyhoeddus rhatach
Supportive education / Addysg gefnogol
Mental health services / Gwasanaethau iechyd meddwl
My name is Ffion Davies and I aim to be the voice of Pontypridd in the Welsh Youth Parliament. From my earliest memories, I have always had a strong interest in politics and debate. From my time in the primary school council to my involvement in the Senedd of Ysgol Gartholwg and Ysgol Gartholwgs Welsh debate team, I have consistently supported the representation of young people's opinions. Observing from the gallery of the Senedd has strengthened my aspiration to one day occupy a seat. My main focus, if chosen, will be providing cheaper transportation for young people. I also intend to fight for better education and mental health services. Being born and brought up a Welsh speaker in Pontypridd, my community holds a special place in my heart. I look forward to this assisting me in both staying in touch with the youth in my community and advocating strongly for our opinions.
Ffion Davies ydw i a dw i’n awyddus i fod yn llais Pontypridd yn Senedd Ieuenctid Cymru. Ers fy atgofion cynharaf, dw i wedi bod â diddordeb mawr mewn gwleidyddiaeth a dadlau. O fy amser ar gyngor yr ysgol gynradd i gymryd rhan yn Senedd Ysgol Gartholwg a thîm dadlau Cymraeg Ysgol Gartholwg, dw i’n gyson wedi cefnogi cynrychiolaeth barn pobl ifanc. Mae gwylio o oriel y Senedd wedi cryfhau fy awydd i gael sedd rhyw ddydd. Os caf fy newid, fy mhrif ffocws bydd cynnig trafnidiaeth ratach i bobl ifanc. Dw i’n bwriadu ymladd dros addysg gwell a gwasanaethau iechyd meddwl. Ar ôl cael fy ngeni a’m magu fel siaradwr Cymraeg ym Mhontypridd, mae gan fy nghymuned le arbennig yn fy nghalon. Dw i’n edrych ymlaen at hyn er mwyn fy helpu i gadw mewn cyswllt gyda phobl ifanc yn y gymuned ac eirioli dros ein barn.
