As a girl who is educated in Wales, I believe there are good ideas I can bring to Senedd. In the past, I was voted Class Representative, and I'd seek out my peers, hear their thoughts on the school, and how it can change. Outside of school, I am invested in my community by volunteering at a food bank I’ve worked at for the past year, and joining lots of outdoor activities. In school, I enjoy Music, Science, and English, because I love reading and writing. In English class, when I present something, I am confident to go in front of my class, or year group and speak. Although I understand that you have many options, I want to say that as a Welsh Youth Parliament Member, I would not only promise to try my best to hear others, but I would coordinate with my team. I’m a bilingual student, speaking English, Welsh, and I’m learning Spanish and Hebrew, as my Dad is Jewish. I want to challenge myself, and reach my goals, which is when I heard of this opportunity, I took it. Diolch yn fawr iawn
Fel merch sy’n cael ei haddysg yng Nghymru, rwy’n credu y gallaf ddod â syniadau da i’r Senedd. Yn y gorffennol, cefais fy ethol yn Gynrychiolydd Dosbarth, a byddwn yn ceisio barn fy nghyfoedion, ac yn gwrando ar eu safbwyntiau am yr ysgol a sut y gall newid. Y tu allan i'r ysgol, rwy'n buddsoddi yn fy nghymuned drwy wirfoddoli mewn banc bwyd rwyf wedi gweithio ynddo yn ystod y flwyddyn ddiwethaf, ac yn ymuno â llawer o weithgareddau awyr agored. Yn yr ysgol, rwy’n mwynhau cerddoriaeth, gwyddoniaeth, a Saesneg, achos rwy'n caru darllen ac ysgrifennu. Yn y dosbarth Saesneg, pan fyddaf yn cyflwyno rhywbeth, rwy'n hyderus i fynd o flaen fy nosbarth, neu grŵp blwyddyn, a siarad. Er fy mod yn deall bod gennych lawer o opsiynau, rwyf am ddweud, fel Aelod o Senedd Ieuenctid Cymru, y byddwn yn addo ceisio fy ngorau i glywed eraill, ond y byddwn i hefyd yn cydlynu â fy nhîm. Rwy'n fyfyriwr dwyieithog, yn siarad Cymraeg a Saesneg, ac rwy'n dysgu Sbaeneg a Hebraeg, gan fod fy nhad yn Iddewig. Rwyf am herio fy hun, a chyrraedd fy nodau, felly fe wnes i fachu’r cyfle hwn pan glywais amdano. Diolch yn fawr iawn.
