I have chosen the Welsh language as my first priority because I believe that the language is important to us as Welsh people. Historical Welsh names are being changed to English names that are irrelevant to the Welsh language; this is unacceptable as it undermines the Welsh language.
My second priority area is mental health services, because this issue is very important to me. Mental health is an issue across Wales, and I want young people to be able to make a difference in this area.
Education is so important because it enables people to build a better future for themselves. This, in turn, is important because many young people believe that they don’t need a good education, whereas the truth is that they need a good education to progress to college or sixth form.
My name is Isabelle and I believe that I can make a difference on these three issues because they are very important to me. Acting on these issues would make a difference for all young people in Ceredigion, which matters to me as someone who is part of that same society.
Fel mater o bwys cyntaf dwy wedi dewis i neud y gymraeg oherwydd dwyn meddwl bod yr iaith yn bwysig i ni fel cymru. Mae enwau hanesyddol cymraeg yn cael ei newid i enwau saesneg sydd yn amherthnasol ir iaith cymraig mae hyn yn andderbyniol gan mae hyn yn tynnu oddi’r gymrag.
Fel fy ail mater o bwys rwyf wedi dewis gwasaneithau iechyd meddwl oherwydd mae hyn yn hynod o bwysig i mi. Mae iechyd meddwl yn problem dros cymru gyfan ac dwy eisiau bod pobl ifanc yn gallu neud gwahaniaith am hyn.
Mae addysg yn bwysig iawn oherwydd dyna sut mae pobl yn neud yn well yn y dyfodol. Mae hyn hefyd yn bwysyg oherwydd mae llawer o bobl ifanc yn meddwl nad oes angen addysg dda arnynt ond mae angen iddyn nhw cael addysg dda i fynd i coleg neu yr 6ed.
Fy enw i ydi Isabelle ac dwyn meddwl gallaf neud gwahaniaeth yn y tri mater yma oherwydd mae nhw yn bwysig iawn i mi ac mae hyn yn gallu neud gwahaniaeth i pobl ifanc yn ceredigion sydd yn bwysig i mi fel rhywyn sydd yn rhan or cymdeithas.
