Extracurricular activities / Gweithgareddau trawsgwricwlaidd
Vaping in teenagers / Pobl ifanc yn fêpio
Rising house prices crisis / Argyfwng costau tai cynyddol
I want to be a WYP member as our generation has been dealt a difficult hand, and I’m determined to change that.
Growing up in a rural community has meant limited access to extracurriculars, making it harder to build a strong foundation; more clubs need to be founded so that everyone has an equal chance to succeed, no matter where they come from.
I’m also gravely concerned about the rise of vaping among my peers. What started as a tool to quit smoking has become a dangerous trend. If regulations are not put in place, the health of my generation will soon falter.
Living in a coastal community has made me acutely aware of the housing crisis. If we don’t address soaring house prices, young people like myself will be priced out of what we call home.
I’m passionate about tackling tough issues and never hesitate to express my views. If elected, I’ll ensure my peers are not just heard but genuinely listened to, that something is done. Everyone’s voice deserves to be heard — and I’m all ears.
Dw i eisiau bod yn aelod o Senedd Ieuenctid Cymru oherwydd mae ein cenhedlaeth wedi’i chael hi’n anodd, a dw i’n benderfynol o newid hynny. Mae tyfu i fyny mewn cymuned wledig wedi golygu bod llai o weithgareddau trawsgwricwlaidd, sy’n ei gwneud hi’n anoddach adeiladu sylfeini cryf; mae angen sefydlu mwy o glybiau fel bod pawb yn cael cyfle teg i lwyddo, dim ots ble maen nhw’n byw.
Dw i hefyd wir yn poeni am gynnydd fêpio ymysg fy nghyd-ddisgyblion. Dechrau fel rhywbeth i stopio ysmygu wnaeth e, ond mae bellach yn duedd peryglus. Os na fydd rheoliadau’n cael eu rhoi ar waith, bydd hanner fy nghenhedlaeth yn dioddef. Mae byw ar yr arfordir wedi gwneud i mi fod yn ymwybodol iawn o’r argyfwng tai. Os nad ydyn ni’n datrys prisiau tai drudfawr, bydd pobl ifanc fel fi yn cael eu prisio allan o adref.
Dw i’n angerddol dros daclo materion anodd a dw i fyth yn ofni mynegi barn. Os caf fy ethol, dw i’n mynd i wneud yn siŵr bod fy nghyd-ddisgyblion yn cael eu clywed a bod rhywun yn gwrando, a bod canlyniad – dw i’n barod i wrando.
