I have always lived in Ammanford and the Welsh language has been a major and important part of my life from the very beginning because I was immersed in the culture and traditions of Wales. I am enthusiastic about the world of theatre, foreign languages and history. I am a friendly, hardworking person and I have succeeded in achieving a lot that I am proud of, including writing articles for the Lloffwr Llai paper. Through years of competing at the Eisteddfod, singing in the county choir, taking part in inter-school partnerships and attending the Gwendraeth Valley youth theatre group, I have got to know many of Carmarthenshire’s young people from different schools, of different backgrounds and different ages. Since 2022, I have been part of the Children in Wales online safety forum, and have helped to influence the Welsh Government's plans on that issue. I'm not afraid to share my opinion in a fair and considerate way, and I'm passionate about inclusivity. If I were to become a member of the Welsh Youth Parliament, I would be determined to elevate the voices of Wales’s young people.
Rwyf wedi byw yn Rhydaman erioed ac mae’r Gymraeg wedi bod yn rhan enfawr a phwysig o’m mywyd o’r cychwyn cyntaf am i mi gael fy nhrochi yn niwylliant a thraddodiadau Cymru. Rwy’n frwd am fyd theatr, ieithoedd tramor a hanes. Rwy’n berson hawddgar, gweithgar ac rwyf wedi llwyddo i gyflawni llawer rwy’n falch ohono, gan gynnwys ysgrifennu erthyglau i bapur Lloffwr Llai. Trwy flynyddoedd o gystadlu yn yr Eisteddfod, canu yn y Côr Sir, cymryd rhan mewn partneriaethau rhyng-ysgolion a mynychu grŵp theatr ieuenctid Cwm Gwendraeth, rwyf wedi dod i adnabod llu o bobl ifanc Sir Gar o wahanol ysgolion, cefndiroedd ac oedrannau. Ers 2022, rwyf wedi bod yn rhan o fforwm cadw’n ddiogel ar-lein Children in Wales, ac wedi helpu i ddylanwadu ar gynlluniau Llywodraeth Cymru am y mater. Does gen i ddim ofn rhannu fy marn mewn modd teg ac ystyriol, ac rwy’n angerddol am gynwysoldeb. Pe bawn i’n dod yn aelod o Senedd Ieuenctid Cymru, buaswn yn benderfynol o ddyrchafu lleisiau pobl ifanc Cymru.
