I am passionate about representing young people in Wales, especially those from working-class communities like Ely, where I grew up. I’ve seen and experienced the challenges of material deprivation and poor housing which has motivated me to fight for better living standards for all. As Head Boy of Mary Immaculate High School, I learned to listen and empathise with others, ensuring every voice was heard. I believe in the importance of education and respecting social, cultural and economic differences. If elected to the Welsh Youth Parliament, I will engage with young people by visiting schools, setting up and attending community events, and using social media to ensure voices are heard. I will be accessible and make sure everyone has the chance to express their views. My love for Wales and its heritage inspires me to promote the Welsh language and improve housing, education and opportunities. My experiences, empathy and passion for equality makes me a committed advocate for change.
Rydw i’n angerddol dros gynrychioli pobl ifanc yng Nghymru, yn enwedig y rhai o gymunedau dosbarth gweithiol, fel Trelái lle cefais i fy magu. Dw i wedi gweld a phrofi heriau amddifadedd o ran pethau materol a thai gwael, sydd wedi fy nghymell i frwydro am safonau byw gwell i bawb. Fel Prif Ddisgybl Ysgol Uwchradd Mary Immaculate, dw i wedi dysgu sut i wrando a dangos empathi at eraill, gan sicrhau bod pob llais yn cael ei glywed. Dw i’n credu mewn pwysigrwydd addysg a pharchu gwahaniaethau cymdeithasol, diwylliannol ac economaidd. Os bydda’ i’n cael fy ethol i Senedd Ieuenctid Cymru, dw i’n mynd i gysylltu â phobl ifanc drwy fynd i ysgolion, trefnu a mynd i ddigwyddiadau cymunedol a defnyddio’r cyfryngau cymdeithasol i wneud yn siŵr bod lleisiau’n cael eu clywed. Bydd hi’n hawdd siarad â fi a dw i’n mynd i wneud yn siŵr bod pawb yn cael cyfle i fynegi barn. Mae fy nghariad at Gymru a’i diwylliant yn ysbrydoli fi i hybu’r Gymraeg a gwella tai, addysg a chyfleoedd. Mae fy mhrofiadau, empathi ac angerdd dros gydraddoldeb yn golygu fy mod i’n eiriolwr sydd wedi ymrwymo i newid pethau.
