CANDIDATE STATEMENT

I believe that i am perfect for this opportunity as i live in a developing community. I'm passionate about helping to improve my community and country and am eager to improve the quality of life for its citizens. I'll have face to face drop-in sessions with the people in my school and community to gain feedback and see what we could be doing better to help support them. I have always decided to put other needs before my own. I have shown this consistently through my school career, having been a listening ear for my friends and peers. I have always been happy and willing to help. I come from a family who encourage hard work and supporting others. This is shown in my mother who supports those who are vulnerable. I also took part in the interviewing process for the head of education role in my community. I have always put myself forward for roles such as form captain and a school council member to ensure that students' voices are heard and listened to. I’m also fluent in Welsh.

DATGANIAD YMGEISYDD

Credaf fy mod yn berffaith ar gyfer y cyfle hwn gan fy mod i’n byw mewn cymuned sy'n datblygu. Dw i’n angerddol am helpu i wella fy nghymuned a'm gwlad ac yn awyddus i wella ansawdd bywyd ei dinasyddion. Byddaf yn cael sesiynau galw heibio wyneb yn wyneb gyda'r bobl yn fy ysgol a'm cymuned i gael adborth a gweld beth y gallen ni fod yn ei wneud yn well i helpu i'w cefnogi. Dw i bob amser wedi penderfynu rhoi anghenion eraill o flaen fy rhai fy hun. Dw i wedi dangos hyn yn gyson trwy gydol fy ngyrfa ysgol, ar ôl bod yn glust i wrando ar fy ffrindiau a chyfoedion. Dw i bob amser wedi bod yn hapus ac yn barod i helpu. Dw i’n dod o deulu sy'n annog gwaith caled a chefnogi eraill. Mae hyn yn cael ei ddangos gan fy mam sy'n cefnogi'r rhai sy'n agored i niwed. Cymerais ran hefyd yn y broses gyfweld ar gyfer rôl pennaeth addysg yn fy nghymuned. Dw i bob amser wedi cynnig fy hun ar gyfer rolau fel capten dosbarth ac aelod o gyngor yr ysgol i sicrhau bod lleisiau myfyrwyr yn cael eu clywed a bod rhywun yn gwrando arnyn nhw. Dw i hefyd yn rhugl yn y Gymraeg.
