CANDIDATE STATEMENT

Hello, my name is Daiyan Mir, and I’m currently studying A-level Maths, English, Politics, and Welsh Bacc at Ysgol Dyffryn Nantlle. As a passionate advocate for youth rights, I believe young people deserve a say in shaping the future of Wales. If elected, I will focus on three key issues: education, housing, and transport — and my DMs are always open if you’d like to contact me.

I’ve always found joy in listening to and helping others, skills that are essential for the role I hope to take on. As someone who enjoys public speaking, I’ll ensure my voice is heard at the Senedd with confidence and conviction.

It would be a great honour to serve the young people of Arfon in the Senedd. I am committed to ensuring that young voices are heard and to working towards a better future for all young people in Wales.

Thank you.
