Education / Addysg
I believe that every child, regardless of their background, deserves the chance to reach their full potential. I have a commitment to social mobility and believe every child should have equal access to appropriate housing, education opportunities, and mental health services. My experiences with social housing and living in a solo parent home have shaped my understanding of the challenges faced by working-class children like me, who are ignored and forgotten by those in positions to change their lives. I will advocate for children like me, ensuring their voices are heard. I will use my position to tackle poverty in all its forms, to improve the lives of children like me, to give them the same opportunities as anyone else, so they can lift themselves out of poverty, and to create lasting change. I want all children to feel safe in Wales, especially those (like me) who have experienced Domestic Abuse. I will work to ensure that people like me and the issues we face are not forgotten.
Credaf fod pob plentyn, beth bynnag fo'u cefndir, yn haeddu'r cyfle i gyrraedd eu potensial llawn. Mae gen i ymrwymiad i symudedd cymdeithasol ac rwy'n credu y dylai pob plentyn gael mynediad cyfartal at dai priodol, cyfleoedd addysg a gwasanaethau iechyd meddwl. Mae fy mhrofiadau gyda thai cymdeithasol a byw mewn cartref rhieni unigol wedi siapio fy nealltwriaeth o'r heriau sy'n wynebu plant dosbarth gweithiol fel fi, sy'n cael eu hanwybyddu a'u hanghofio gan y rhai sydd mewn swyddi i newid eu bywydau. Byddaf yn eirioli dros blant fel fi, gan sicrhau bod eu lleisiau'n cael eu clywed. Byddaf yn defnyddio fy sefyllfa i fynd i'r afael â thlodi yn ei holl ffurfiau, i wella bywydau plant fel fi, i roi'r un cyfleoedd iddynt ag unrhyw un arall, fel y gallant godi eu hunain allan o dlodi, ac i greu newid parhaol. Rwyf am i bob plentyn deimlo'n ddiogel yng Nghymru, yn enwedig y rhai (fel fi) sydd wedi profi Cam-drin Domestig. Byddaf yn gweithio i sicrhau nad yw pobl fel fi a'r materion sy'n ein hwynebu yn cael eu hanghofio.
