As a young person in Wales I feel strongly that the youth of Wales have the opportunity to express our desires for this country and how it should advance. I wish to be a member of the youth parliament so that the future desired by the people in Wales can be achieved. I believe that someone should vote for me because of the passion I have for Wales to excel and be respected. I care that we as the young people are heard and acknowledged. My abilities to stay organised, consider all viewpoints and listen to what is being asked of me is why someone should vote for me. My knowledge on political and social issues but also my care for Wales and the people within are the main reasons I would be a great member. If I were to become a member then I could ensure the young people in my area are heard by creating a form and providing this to local schools or dropping it in letterboxes and compiling the feedback. I could also consult with George Carroll, an active Vale council member in my community

Fel person ifanc yng Nghymru rydw i’n teimlo’n gryf bod ieuenctid Cymru yn cael cyfle i fynegi ein dyheadau ar gyfer y wlad, a sut y dylai symud ymlaen. Rydw i eisiau bod yn aelod o’r Senedd Ieuenctid fel fy mod i’n gallu cyflawni’r dyfodol mae pobl Cymru eisiau ei weld. Rydw i’n credu dylai rhywun bleidleisio drosof fi gan fy mod i’n angerddol dros weld Cymru’n ffynnu ac yn cael ei pharchu. Mae’r ffaith bod pobl ifanc yn cael eu clywed a’u cydnabod yn bwysig i mi. Dylid pleidleisio drosof fi oherwydd fy ngallu i fod yn drefnus, ystyried barn wahanol a gwrando ar yr hyn a ofynnir ohonof. Bydden i’n aelod gwych oherwydd fy ngwybodaeth am faterion gwleidyddol a chymdeithasol, ond hefyd pa mor bwysig yw Cymru i mi. Petawn i’n dod yn aelod, bydden i’n gallu sicrhau bod pobl ifanc fy ardal yn cael eu clywed drwy greu ffurflen a’i rhannu ag ysgolion lleol, neu ei roi mewn blychau post a chronni’r adborth. Hefyd, gallen i drafod gyda George Carroll, aelod gweithredol o gyngor y Fro yn fy nghymuned.
