Hello, my name is Kabir and I would like to become the Welsh Youth Parliament Member for Torfaen because I believe that, as young people, we are the future of this country and we should have a strong say in how our lives are affected. I believe that you should vote for me because I want to stand up for the interests of young people and I want to help lead the way for a better Wales. Everyone thinks that politics is for old, middle/upper class people, and so it is my duty to help break that barrier.

Torfaen is in my blood. I know what every young person thinks; that there is no opportunity in Cwmbran, Pontypool, Blaenavon, Abersychan and in the suburbs, but your vote can help change that. I will make sure that the voice of every young person is heard by acting as a messenger between the government and the people of Torfaen.

Dw i’n credu y dylech chi bleidleisio drosof i oherwydd y bydda i’n dadlau dros fuddiannau pobl ifanc a dw i eisiau helpu i arwain y ffordd ar gyfer Cymru well. Mae pawb yn meddwl bod gwleidyddiaeth i hen bobl a phobl dosbarth canol/uwch, felly mae’n ddyletswydd arna i i helpu i chwalu’r rhwystr hwnnw.

Mae Torfaen yn fy ngwaed. Dw i’n gwybod beth mae pob person ifanc yn meddwl; does dim cyfle yng Nghwmbrân, Pont-y-pŵl, Blaenafon, Abersychan ac yn y maestrefi, ond mae eich pleidlais chi’n gallu helpu i newid hynny.
