I would like to be Member of the Welsh Youth Parliament for Bridgend because I believe in making a difference in our politics to help advocate for policy where it is needed, but also arguing the case for protecting ourselves against the growing power of the state over our lives. I shall consult with you, the voters, by email in which I shall respond within a week without bias or disregard for any question, and always with respect. I know that this parliament has no power, but I would like to win your vote nonetheless. We can send a message to the elites who rule the government, that the youth of Wales are not docile to the regressive and excessive laws this parliament has passed unopposed. I hold experience in representing others by volunteering in my school council over the years, able to put forward the questions and ideas of others to the school to consider; exactly as I would be doing in this Youth Parliament. Bydden ni’n gallu anfon neges i’r elit sy’n rhedeg y llywodraeth yn dweud nad yw pobl ifanc Cymru yn anwybyddu cyfreithiau gormodol y senedd. Mae gen i brofiad yn cynrychioli eraill drwy wirfoddoli ar y cyngor ysgol dros y blynyddoedd. Dw i’n gallu cyflwyno cwestiynau a syniadau eraill i’r ysgol eu hystyried; yn enwedig fel y bydden ni’n ei wneud yn y Senedd Ieuenctid. Dw i’n gobeithio cael eich cefnogaeth.
