I would like to be a Welsh Parliament member to have a viable say in things that not only affect me at the present, but have greater implications for future generations in Wales. I also think that being a representative would give me the opportunity to further develop important skills such as public speaking, debating and a further understanding of Welsh politics. I attend a school with over 1,400 pupils from a wide spectrum of ethnic and socio economic backgrounds. They would appreciate the ability to express their views and concerns over issues that impact them and so, by me being a member of the Welsh Youth Parliament, I would hope to be able create a bridge for them to be listened to as the youth population of Wales. I have been on various school councils during my school career and I am very interested in politics. I would like to continue to develop that interest through the Welsh Youth Parliament.

Dw i eisiau bod yn aelod o Senedd Ieuenctid Cymru i gael dweud fy nweud ar bethau sydd nid yn unig yn effeithio fi ar hyn o bryd, ond sydd yn mynd i arwain at oblygiadau i genedlaethau’r dyfodol yng Nghymru. Dw i hefyd yn meddwl bydd bod yn gynrychiolydd yn rhoi cyfle i mi ddatblygu sgiliau pwysig fel siarad cyhoeddus, dadlau a dealltwriaeth bellach o wleidyddiaeth Cymru. Dw i’n mynd i ysgol gyda dros 1,400 o ddisgyblion o ystod eang o gefndiroedd ethnig a chymdeithasol-economaidd. Bydden nhw’n hoffi cael cyfle i fynegi barn a phryderon dros bethau sy’n bwysig iddyn nhw, ac felly, trwy fod yn aelod o Senedd Ieuenctid Cymru, dw i’n gobeithio gallu creu pont iddyn nhw gael eu clywed fel poblogaeth ifanc Cymru. Dw i wedi bod ar sawl cyngor ysgol yn ystod fy ngyrfa yn yr ysgol, ac mae gen i ddiddordeb mawr mewn gwleidyddiaeth. Dw i eisiau parhau i ddatblygu’r diddordeb hwnnw drwy Senedd Ieuenctid Cymru.
