Among numerous other reasons, the main purpose I would like to become a Welsh Youth Parliament member is to enable young people's voices to be not only heard but also to be acted upon. In order to achieve this I will discuss with my peers at school about any problems they may have or be concerned about, while encouraging them to share the ideas of young pupils in other schools, so that I ensure every voice is attended to. Moreover, I believe that I deserve your vote as i'm mature, efficient and an exceptional communicator. I have demonstrated these qualities on numerous occasions, for example I have been a part of school council in primary. In taking on this role I had to take action on any concerns raised by my peers by offering relevant and practical solutions. Furthermore, I have also been a part of the eco committee and crew cymraeg, two positions that once again resulted in me needing to practice similar skills to the ones required to be a part of the Welsh Youth Parliament.

Mae llawer o resymau pam dw i eisiau dod yn aelod o Senedd Ieuenctid Cymru, ond y prif reswm yw gwneud yn siŵr bod lleisiau pobl ifanc yn gallu cael eu clywed a’u gweithredu. Er mwyn gwneud hyn, dw i’n mynd i drafod gyda disgyblion yn yr ysgol unrhyw broblemau sydd ganddynt neu sy’n eu poeni nhw, ac annog nhw i rannu syniadau disgyblion ifanc mewn ysgolion eraill, fel fy mod i’n gwneud yn siŵr bod pob llais yn cael ei glywed. Hefyd, dw i’n credu fy mod i’n haeddu eich pleidlais oherwydd dw i’n aeddfed, effeithlon ac yn gyfathrebwr da. Dw i wedi dangos y sgiliau hyn sawl gwaith, er enghraifft roeddwn i ar y cyngor ysgol yn yr ysgol gynradd. Drwy gymryd y rôl hon, roedd angen i mi weithredu ar unrhyw bryderon fy nghyd-ddisgyblion drwy gynnig atebion perthnasol neu ymarferol. Hefyd, dw i wedi bod yn rhan o’r pwyllgor eco a’r Criw Cymraeg, dwy rôl oedd yn golygu bod angen ymarfer sgiliau tebyg i’r rhai fydd eu hangen yn Senedd Ieuenctid Cymru.
