I am Cerys Non Liversage and I want to apply for the Welsh Youth Parliament. I believe that young people need to have the opportunity to express their views on subjects that affect them and their communities. I enjoy listening to others, sharing my ideas, and finding solutions to problems.
Protecting our schools and investing in them is essential, so that every pupil in Wales receives an excellent quality education. Sufficient funding should be secured for schools to be able to employ enough teachers to offer a variety of GCSE and A- level subjects.
It is also important to protect the Welsh health service. Residents of Wales should receive the best possible medical care and face shorter waiting times to see a doctor or receive treatment.
The future of the Welsh language is very important to me. I would like to help the language to flourish in my area. I think it would be an excellent idea to establish Welsh-medium youth clubs for young people to practice and use the language outside school.
Cerys Non Liversage ydw i ac rwyf am ymgeisio ar gyfer Senedd Ieuenctid Cymru. Credaf fod angen i bobl ifanc gael cyfle i fynegi eu barn am bynciau sy’n effeithio arnynt a’u cymunedau. Rwy’n mwynhau gwrando ar eraill, rhannu fy syniadau, a dod o hyd i atebion i broblemau.
Mae diogelu ein hysgolion a buddsoddi ynddynt yn hanfodol, fel bod pob disgybl yng Nghymru yn cael addysg o ansawdd wych. Dylid sicrhau digon o arian i ysgolion allu cyflogi digon o athrawon i gynnig amrywiaeth o bynciau TGAU a Lefel A.
Mae hefyd yn bwysig diogelu Gwasanaeth Iechyd Cymru. Dylai trigolion Cymru gael y gofal meddygol gorau posib, a llai o amser aros i ymweld â meddyg neu gael triniaeth.
Mae dyfodol yr Iaith Gymraeg yn bwysig iawn imi. Hoffwn helpu'r iaith i ffynnu yn fy ardal. Credaf byddai’n syniad gwych sefydlu clybiau ieuenctid Cymraeg i bobl ifanc ymarfer a defnyddio’r iaith tu allan i’r ysgol.
