I am interested in becoming a Member of the Welsh Youth Parliament because I believe that everybody’s voice should be heard. I feel that young people’s voices are so important because we are the next generation. I intend to consult young people in my area through surveys, engagement activities and social media, and I’d like to collaborate with schools and other organisations. I believe that I am a diligent, conscientious and considerate person. I have strong beliefs but I also have the ability to communicate important matters in a sensitive way. I am a passionate believer in being a good listener when discussing other people’s opinions and needs. During my time at school I have been a member of the school council and various sub-committees, and I believe that this has made me an even stronger candidate for the Youth Parliament.

Rydw i efo diddordeb i fod yn Aelod o Senedd Ieuenctid Cymru oherwydd credaf y dylai lleisiau pawb gael eu clywed. Teimlaf fod lleisiau pobl ifanc mor bwysig gan fod ni yw'r genhedlaeth nesaf. Bwriadaf i ymgynghori â phobl ifanc yn fy ardal trwy holiaduron, ymgysylltu â'r cyfryngau cymdeithasol ag hoffwn gydweithio ag ysgolion a sefydliadau. Credaf fy mod yn unigolyn diwyd, cydwybodol a gofalgar. Rwyf yn unigolyn efo teimladau cryf ond rwyf efo'r gallu i gyfathrebu anghenion dros faterion pwysig a sensitif. Rwy'n angerddol wrth dal i fod yn wrandäwr da ar farn ac anghenion eraill. Dros fy amser yn yr ysol rydw i wedi bod yn rhan o'r cyngor ysgol ac ystod o is-bwyllgorau gwahanol, credaf fod hon yn cryfhau fy ngallu fel ymgeisydd Aelod o'r Senedd Ieuenctid.
