I dag er jeg aktiv i bl.a. IDA Automotive.

  • at IDA udbyder stærke, faglige arrangementer over hele landet.

Who am I?

My engineering life has been characterized by major changes and switching between different lines of business, and for me the essence of being an engineer is the ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new disciplines.
After starting in the construction business, I have throughout my working life been engaged in software development, systems management and international technical support, and have for a period been running my own business. Today I work with signalling and remote control systems for railways.
I have been a volounteer within IDA for 11 years, through many years as chairman of IDA Aviation. I have also been a member of the SKU (Coordination Committee of the Technical Societies) through many years, the latter as deputy chairman. Today I´m part of IDA Automotive, end enjoy setting up events for IDA members.
At my workplace, I am chairman of the IDA Company Group, and thus negotiate salary and work conditions on behalf of my engineering colleagues.
I´m presently a member of the IDA board of Representatives and the Executive Board.
Furthermore, I´m member of the AKA board of representatives.

Why am I a candidate?

First of all, I want to ensure that IDA remains a union that provides the greatest possible value for its members. This applies to work and employment relationships, professional lectures, education, but also economic member benefits such as purchasing and discount schemes.
In the day-to-day debate, IDA must be the voice of technology, which suggests actual solutions, especially regarding environmental issues.
IDA should not support political movements or sponsor sports teams, IDA must be fact-based and focused on solutions.

Why should you vote for me?

I will work to ensure

  • that IDA offers strong, professional events across the country.
  • that IDA utilise the latest technology in the service of its members.
  • that the volunteers in IDA have good working conditions, so that IDA continually will benefit from the efforts of many active members.
  • that rules are not being made on the basis of individual cases - IDA volunteers must be shown confidence and freedom to act.
  • that IDA provides support to start-ups and self-employed people.
