Jeg har drevet egen virksomhed i 22 år.
Jeg har stor erfaring med ingeniørarbejde fra de mange forskellige ingeniørarbejdspladser, jeg er kommet på – alt fra dybe tekniske specialistfunktioner til ledelsesfunktioner.
Jeg er bosiddende lidt vest for Aarhus og har to store teenagedrenge, hvoraf den ene er fløjet fra reden.
Jeg har været engageret i IDA i over 20 år, dels i IDA Lederforum og dels i det foreningspolitiske system. For tiden er jeg:
- I bestyrelsen for Lederforum Midt
- Medlem af repræsentantskabet
- Formand for Akademikernes a-kasse
Jeg vil specielt have fokus på:
- Paradokset at virksomhederne nærmest desperat efterspørger ingeniører og cand.scienter, samtidig med selv samme virksomheder ikke ønsker at ansætte ledige ingeniører og scienter over ca. 50 år.
- Styrkelse af de fagtekniske og regionale enheder, der laver arrangementer for medlemmerne – ”arrangeret af medlemmer, og for medlemmer”. Det er vigtigt, at arrangementer findes i hele landet, samt at de virtuelle platforme anvendes der, hvor de giver værdi for medlemmerne.
I have extensive experience with engineering work from the many different engineering work places I have been at - everything from technical specialist functions to management functions.
I live a little west of Aarhus and have two big teenage boys, one of whom has left the nest.
I have been involved in IDA for over 20 years, partly in the IDA Lederforum (IDA Management Forum) and partly in the IDA policy system. Currently I am:
- Member of the board of Lederforum Midt (IDA Management Forum)
- Member of the Board of Representatives
- Chairman of Akademikernes a-kasse
I was elected to the Board of Representatives for the first time in 2007 and was IDA's Deputy Chairman in the period from 2010 to 2016.
I especially want to focus on:
- The paradox that companies almost desperately demand engineers and M.Sc., while even the same companies do not want to hire unemployed engineers and M.Sc. over age of approx. 50 years.
- Strengthening of the technical and regional units that make events for the members - "arranged by members, and for members". It is important that events are available throughout the country, as well as that the virtual platforms are used where they provide value for the members.
